Color dependent
I have seen this pillow case reviewed in other colors and it seems that the type of material makes a difference. So, when you are looking at reviews, make sure you are look at the photo where it notes what material each color is and read the review for that specific color. I did not realize at first that there were reviews for different colors.

The navy fleece is soft as others mentioned and I love snuggling in each night. It is not as soft as I was hoping when getting something "fleece." However, the description says "lightweight" and so it is true to what is described. The pillow case doesn't fit the pillow as snug as I'd like and is loose but it it does not bother me. I think it has shrunk up a tiny bit as I've washed but still loose and not snug. I have owned this pillow case for 3 months and so far has held up to washings well.

We just changed the quilt for our bed to a different color scheme and I was hoping to get the "natural" color to match but found...
Cozy
It's definitely soft and warm -- my pets all love it. It feels a little more synthetic than I had hoped; I really wanted something more flannel-like. But it is the best I've found, and works well. As other reviewers have noted, it is much longer than the pillows themselves, and there is a lot of unused material left at the end. It doesn't interfere with functionality, just looks odd.
